Prism Launcher 11.0.3 — Open-source vault for Minecraft relics

Catalog every modpack, loader, and world in its own sealed chamber — nothing bleeds between timelines.

Windows · macOS · Linux · GPL-3.0 · v11.0.3

The dig site

A launcher built to curate
more than one Minecraft era

Prism Launcher is GPL-3 open source — a lightweight Qt curator for players who run parallel Minecraft lives without a bloated browser shell.

Every instance is indexed like a relic: its own version, loader, Java heap, worlds, and resource packs. Hop from vanilla ruins to Fabric expeditions or Forge vaults without cross-contamination.

Unseal version 11.0.3

Curated collections

Modpack excavation

Bury manual zip archaeology. Prism retrieves Modrinth and CurseForge packs, updates them in place, and keeps each collection in its own chamber.

Single artifacts

Mod cataloging

Lost track of which jar belongs where? Query Modrinth and CurseForge from inside the vault and stamp updates onto the correct instance ledger.

Vault chambers

Instance preservation

Spin up discrete chambers — each with dedicated mods, configs, and Java tuning — then cross the threshold without disturbing neighboring relics.

The antechamber

Lean stone, flexible layout

No embedded browser weighing down the dig. Qt keeps the interface light, and custom themes let you reshape the catalog to taste.

Who enters the vault

Setups archaeologists actually run

Modpack curators

Park ATM, Create, and performance packs in separate chambers — each with dedicated Java and memory offerings.

Linux excavators

Native builds, AppImage, or Flatpak when your distro prefers a portable excavation kit.

MultiMC migrants

Import legacy instances, then unlock CurseForge and Modrinth without hand-copying artifact jars.

Loader testers

Excavate Forge, Fabric, Quilt, and NeoForge side by side — no shared .minecraft sediment.

Field notes

Prism among the launcher ruins

How today's tools compare on the ground. Prism inherits the MultiMC lineage and layers native Modrinth and CurseForge access on top.

Provenance

Source you can excavate yourself

Code ships under GPL-3; logo assets under CC BY-SA 4.0. Official builds span Windows, macOS, and Linux — Flatpak and AppImage included.

Windows SmartScreen may block unsigned installers — the project does not buy a Microsoft code signature. That friction is normal for GPL tools. Read the trust page before you unseal a build.

What curators report from the field

Modpack curator

Six packs live in separate vaults. Prism refreshes Modrinth mods without folder spelunking — clean ledger, no Overwolf banners.

Linux excavator

Flatpak just works. My Fabric shader relic never leaks into the Forge kitchen-sink chamber.

MultiMC migrant

Old instances imported intact. Built-in CurseForge and Modrinth sealed the migration.

Family vault

Microsoft login via device code. Stable on Windows 11 after one SmartScreen allowance.
